The UT Southwestern Library maintains current subscriptions to selected journals published by Bioscientifica, which guarantee a discount for article processing charges (APCs) for corresponding UT Southwestern authors who publish in those journals.
In general, authors may choose to make articles freely available to everyone, without access restrictions, immediately upon publication in return for an author-side fee of 1,500 GBP (opens popup window); the regular cost is 3,000 GBP. (Some cost quotes might indicate that "VAT will be added", but that should apply only to transactions within the United Kingdom and Europe.)

Note: The European Journal of Endocrinology was previously published by Bioscientifica; however, effective January 1, 2023, the journal is now published by Oxford University Press and is no longer eligible for APC discounts.
