Public Library of Science (PLOS)The University of Texas System has an agreement with Public Library of Science (PLOS) to cover article processing charges (APCs) for 11 PLOS journals and support open access (OA) publishing. Through this agreement – which is effective January 1, 2025 – all articles accepted for publication from corresponding UT Southwestern authors will not require paying any fees to publish open access in the following journals:
