Finding Ebooks

A frequently asked question is "Where can I find ebooks through the UTSW Library?" There are several ways to search for ebooks on the Library's website. The guide below provides information about specific ebook collections and how to search the library catalog. Many of the ebook collections have apps so you can access books and chapters through your mobile device while working with patients and away from your computer.

Many of the point-of-care resources are ebook collections or include many ebooks and ebook chapters.

Library Catalog and AcESO

AcESO searches through most of the articles, ebooks, and resources available at UTSW Digital Library and Resource Center.

The library catalog searches electronic and print books, journals, and theses. The catalog can help you find full-text journals but doesn't search for individual articles.

User Responsibility

Even though some of the resources and web sites allow use of their materials for educational and non-commercial purposes, it is your responsibility to read and follow the usage and copyright policies of a media resource.  Look for usage and copyright policies under “About Us,” “Frequently Asked Question,” “Terms and Conditions,” “Terms of Use,” “Copyright” or “Contact Us” on the media resource's website.
