The UT Southwestern Research Data Repository is an open access data repository for researchers affiliated with the UT Southwestern Medical Center. The repository consists of small datasets (under 50GB) produced by the University community, available for public access and re-use. Each dataset includes citation information and a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), facilitating attribution, usage tracking, and linking of data to research publications. Human research data may only be included if data are deidentified and the IRB has approved the sharing of the data on that repository. Researchers should consult with the UTSW IRB prior to sharing the data if it wasn’t explicitly approved in their IRB application.
The Research Data Repository is supported by the University of Texas Southwestern Health Science Library and Digital Learning Center and hosted by the Texas Digital Library.
General policies for Dataverse repositories are available. For further information on using the Research Data Repository, please consult the Texas Data Repository User Guide or contact us at LibWebmaster@UTSouthwestern.edu.
