Pivot-RP Profile
A profile is associated with an institution, published papers, and funding opportunities. It is expected and recommended that Pivot-RP users also have profiles.
Claiming or Creating Your Profile
Researchers who claim their profile receive automated funding recommendations based on the content and preferences in your profile. After you configure your profile, you are able to get personalized funding recommendations targeted to your research interests.

Setting Up Your Account

This video explains how to create a new account in Pivot and how to claim your Pivot Profile. These are the first steps you need to take to use Pivot to find sponsored financial support available to researchers at your institution.

We are working with UTSW Information Resources and Pivot I.T. to enable "Use Institutional Login Credential", but it is not yet available. For now, please create an account using your UTSW email address.

Note: When registering using your UT Southwestern email, use all lowercase letters (utsouthwestern.edu).

Updating Your Pivot Profile

This video explains how to update your Pivot Profile to (1) get increased funding matches targeted to you, (2) be discovered as a potential collaborator, and (3) receive relevant funding alerts directly to your inbox.
