LibKey Guide: BrowZine

BrowZine is an app for Apple or Android smart phones and devices that helps you flip through the scholarly electronic journals available through UT Southwestern Medical Center. Browzine has sorted UT Southwestern's ejournals into broad subjects and then into narrower disciplines. You can save and organize your most-used ejournals on virtual bookshelves saved to your account. The result is an easy and familiar way to browse through, read, and monitor scholarly ejournals across disciplines.

BrowZine Using Web Browser (Step 1)

1. Click the link above or go to browzine.com.
   • Note: If no library is set, then you will need to click Choose My Library and select University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
2. Go to Settings (i.e., the gear icon in the upper-right hand portion of the screen).
3. Under BrowZine Account, click Login.
4. Click Sign up to create an account. You do not need to use your UT Southwestern email address here, but if you use BrowZine from off campus, you will be prompted to authenticate using your UT Southwestern credentials.
5. Browse journals by clicking BrowZine Library, or search for journal by title, subject, or ISSN. Add journals to your bookshelf by clicking on a journal, then clicking Add To My Bookshelf.

BrowZine App for Mobile Devices (Step 2)

After installing your preferred app, open it and select University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center from the library list.

You will be prompted to log in with the account you created in the Browzine web app.  If you use BrowZine from off campus, you will be prompted to authenticate using your UT Southwestern credentials.
